Take this morning’s conversation with my husband for example:
Me: I had a night sweat last night.
He: No wonder with those 59 pounds of clothes you wore to bed.
Me: But I’m freezing at the same time, so I have to wear them.
He: Well, if you’re sweating…don’t wear so many clothes and kick the covers off.
Me: It’s not like when you get hot, it’s a night sweat…it’s different…
He: Of course it’s different, you’re wearing all those clothes so you sweat…
Me: But sometimes, I’m freezing at the same time…
He: How can you be sweating and freezing at the same time?
Me: Because I’m in perimenopause…it’s one of the things you go through…
He: So, if you’re sweating, don’t wear so many clothes…
Me: Let’s make an agreement…I won’t try to understand the 59 pounds of tools down on the workbench, and you don’t have to understand my 59 pounds of clothes and freezing and sweating at the same time…we’ll just agree to support each other…
He: Sounds good to me…I’m just saying…If you’re hot… just kick the covers off.
It was at that moment that I remembered I better be taking my Remifemin® consistently because I think I felt a mood swing coming on.
My poor husband, he may have to put that bumper sticker on his car that says:
Sometimes I wake up grumpy, other days I let her sleep!

To kill the chicken.

Yes, Remifemin has been great for me! I take some poetic license to go back to the time before I started and while I was waiting for it to take it's full effect...to have material for these blogs...but thanks for your concern! I really am doing well...but I like to reflect back on to "when" so I don't get lax in thinking that I can just cut out Remifemin. Stay on it...I can tell you it really worked for me! Thanks for your fun comment!

Thanks for the feedback...isn't it interesting how you heard about menopause your whole life but until you start to experience it, you can't really understand what everyone is talking about. But once you experience it for yourself...HELLO!....suddenly it's all very real!
