What Are You Wishing For?
Falling Stars…
Aladdin’s Lamp…
Life brings us many opportunities to wish. Somewhere along the way we can start to lose our belief in wishes. From Jiminy Cricket’s childhood admonition that “it makes no difference who you are,” to our growing older and dealing with 29 laundry baskets of unmatched socks, we start to get skeptical about this whole wish thing.
We run the gamut from outlandish wishes….
I wish this would all disappear…
to hopeful wishes…
Maybe if I do 10 crunches I will look like the lady on page 38 of the fashion magazine.
Wait. That was another outlandish wish!
Recently a friend and I were listening to a speaker who was challenging us to set goals. She leaned over and whispered to me that her goal was to just survive life.
What? Not sky dive or run marathons or end world hunger?
“Me too!” I echoed. “That’s what I was thinking. I just wish to survive all that life holds right now.”
We both looked at each other as women who had been through a lot of years of yellow traffic lights, burned pot roast, kids with scraped knees, and expanding waist lines. And we both were ok with it.
My wish is to experience this day in the best way possible. If I can realize that wish on a daily basis, I’ll believe that dreams really do come true.
How about you? What are you wishing for? Share your stories with the other women experiencing this time of life by leaving feedback on this blog.
Thank goodness we don’t have to just wish for relief.

Hi Colleen,
Thanks for coming to the blog! Check out the Frequently Asked Question section of remifemin.com.
There's some really valuable information there. Educating yourself is key to making decisions for yourself. I'm just like you...I sit around with my girlfriends and we all say..."Well...I heard"...and then sometimes when I start to do some research I find out that part of what we were talking about was true, and part was like those wonderful urban legends that float around with only a grain of truth.
You are on the right path...finding out more and being good to yourself. Keep in touch...it's great to hear from people like you who are having great success with Remifemin!

Hey Heidi,
Your Mom is smart! Yaaa Mom! Here's a tip to everyone...ask your Mom when she started her menopause journey, because you will probably be quite similar.
Since you're beginning at a younger age, you really need to rely on Remifemin. The good thing is, you're going to be the most knowledgable in your crowd when your friends start having symptoms.
You'll be the guru! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Michele,
I love your blog, it gives me a great insight into the mind of someone going through menopause.
Here's something inspirational I wrote you.
Loving someone truly and deeply is simply being willing to die for them without hesitation. That's something you have to find out by searching your heart, but I know I would die for some people in my life...I know it shouldn't depend on who they are, but others I would die more quickly for them than people I don't know...if that makes sense...
Is that real enough?

Hi Jonathan,
Interesting to hear from a man! It's very helpful for the men in a woman's life to understand that what they are going through is very real. Since men can't totally relate, encouragement probably comes from being educated. Thanks for visiting the blog!

Hi Sandee,
I'm so glad you told me what you're experiencing! First of all, know that many women are going through the same thing...and there is help and support. Definately check with your doctor. You are the person who is most in charge of your own health, so don't hold back on seeking answers. Keep asking questions until you feel satisfied that you have the answers you need. Be sure and spend some time at remifemin.com.
You'll find lots of solid information throughout the site. You'll also learn that Remifemin is not a drug and takes time to work. Also, not all black cohosh is the same. Only Remifemin is the most clinically tested brand.
So talk to your doctor, go to remifemin.com and read all about this time of your life. You're not alone! You'll be getting memos from me that I think you'll find helpful. That's why the blog is here...so you can see that others are experiencing just what you are. We're here to offer you encouragement. Don't forget to do what you can to keep your spirits up...very important. I'm so glad you "blogged" and keep in touch! There are answers and natural solutions for everything you're going through.
