How can the blog be more helpful to you?
How often do you check this blog?
Do you have a myspace account...do you go on myspace?
Are you taking your Remifemin every day?

Let's keep the conversation going...come and blog!

    Hi Jo-Anne!
Thanks for the great feedback! You're such a great ambassador for Remifemin...and I love the idea that you pass the small guide inside the box along to someone so they can start to understand what's happening and that there are answers for them.
In answer to your question...you can take Remifemin as long as you need what it provides. Remember the definition of menopause: no period for one complete year. If you are having symptoms after that point, which women do, then keep taking the Remifemin. I also like to remind people that they can take more as their symptoms warrant. Check out the Frequently Asked Questions segment at www.remifemin.com...good answers...and of course...shoot us an email from the website if you have questiona and we'll do our best to get you some answers too.
Thanks for letting me pick your brain...tell your friends online to check us out and send some of their web habits too...thanks Jo-Anne...it's always great to hear from you!

I check my e-mail almost every day and I communicate with friends and family almost every day also. A couple are out of town/state so this is our main mode of keeping in contact.

I've read a few blogs in the past, but this is really the only one that I respond to.

No Myspace account. I've heard too many bad things about it lately to want to be involved. I've forbid my son to also. Too many pervs and wack-jobs cruising it for victims.

I've checked the internet for menopause information as well as just about every other topic. The first serious information I got about menopause was from web sites. It helped me to know what was a good versus stupid question to ask my doctor!

Still taking my Remifemin daily after all these years.

    There....consider me "picked".

    Hi Julie,
Thanks for responding to this blog...we love having you here!
Still taking your Remifemin? Awesome...me too!
I love communicating through the internet...seems though that lots of friends either don't go on the internet...or, they check it so seldom, I can communicate faster if I went the carrier pigeon route!
I really do stay in closer contact with the friends who are "online"...seems letter writing is saved for special occasions, but an email can be sent in a moment. Sometimes it's hard to remember life before computers! Thanks for the feedback...and keep coming back!

    Hi Patricia!
Welcome to the blog...so glad you're here. It's great that you are getting Remifemin because I think you will really get some help that you are looking for. I would talk with your doctor about your periods, and make it clear what is acceptable and what is not. So many women have your same complaint, but unfortnately there are lots of causes, so it's very hard to know what to do without going over everything with your doctor. It seems the "pad" companies have addressed the issue much more than the medical community! Also, if you think your doctor isn't listening to you, or dimissing your views on your body...get a different doctor! Ask around and usually you can find someone who respects your views. The thing to remember with Remifemin is you have to be consistent in taking it and it can take 8 -12 weeks to see the full results...so give it the time it needs. Also, check out the frequently asked questions section at www.remifemin.com...lots of good info on everything. If it's any help, the ladies here know what you're going through. Start your Remifemin and keep me posted. We're glad you're here!

    Hi Nancy,
Welcome to the web...and thanks for sharing your advice. If your experiencing an increase in symptoms...check out this answer from one of our FAQ's at www.remifemin.com

Can I double the dosage? It seems to not be working any more for me.
Clinical trials on Remifemin have used dosages up to 127 mg daily. There is no contraindication to increasing the dosage if desired. It is important to remember that menopause is not marked by a straight decline of estrogen production. There are peaks and valleys, and menopause symptoms may also increase and decrease before disappearing entirely.

I hope you won't give up until you have increased to a dose that works for you...and of course, it's natural, so it does take time. I hear from many women that need an increased dose to get the results they once got because their symptoms have increased...I've experienced this myself.
Keep blogging and let me know how you are doing!

    Hi Jann,
Regarding sweating, I would say talk to your doctor to rule out anything that isn't menopause related. Yes, definately start Remifemin if you haven't already and keep with it. Clinical studies showed the best results in 8 -12 weeks. I do find being outside does set up off more symptoms for me too...why I am on a greater dose this summer, Remifemin Good Night at night and regular Remifemin in the morning. Keep me posted and keep gardening! I know it's very relaxing and rewarding!

    Hi Val!
Welcome to Remifemin! My first advice is stick with it! You are probably starting perimenopause...talk with your doctor and tell him or her everything going on. Try to keep a journal before you see the doctor...that helpst too. People are amazed when they start to study everything that goes with menopause of how all encompassing it is! There is good information at www.remifemin.com
Teenage daughters! Aha, been there done that! :) Both my son and daughter are raised and out of the house now, but yah, those can be some intereting days! My best advice for raising teenagers is dont' get on the roller coaster! They are going up and down so fast that someone has to stay on the level ground! Be careful and make sure you're not getting on the roller coaster with them because it can be a wild ride!
I'm here to "vent to" so keep coming to the blog and use it as the place to say how you're feeling. That's why we're here and keep taking your Remifemin! Keep us posted!
