I am inspired!
Who can forget Clarence the Second Class Angel’s profound statement while trying to earn his wings; Clarence: Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he? It’s a Wonderful Life – 1946
It’s funny to think about the fact that the movie was not a huge box office hit when it first came out. At the time of its release it was considered a box-office flop! We know it so well now because it became a Christmas movie classic in the 1970s due to repeated television showings. Because the copyright protection slipped, it fell into the public domain allowing TV stations to air it for free. Director Frank Capra regarded this film as his own personal favorite and it was also Jimmy Stewart's favorite of all his feature films. Wow…that’s saying a lot!
So here we are, enduring the trials, tribulations and all the calamities that menopause can throw at us on a daily basis. It can be a challenge can’t it? Let’s keep doing what we need to do to make it a wonderful life for each of us. Through this process we’re learning more about ourselves, how we matter and the difference we do make in the lives of everyone we come in contact with. Even on the days that some people would rather not come in contact with us, or they aren’t that crazy about our mood, we know that without us, “there would be an awful hole!”

Hey Michelle, I guess I would have to say my favorite inspirational movie was "Fried Green Tomatoes" where Kathy Bates expirences going through the change and she talks with the woman in the nursing home and they become friends. The main part I like is where these two young girls get her parking spot and she decides to have one of those mood swings associated with going through the change and she just starts ramming their car, they come out and ask if she is crazy, and she quotes "Face it Girls, I'm older and I have more insurance" . I get such a big kick out of that part !!!
Now on a different subject, I've been taking Remifemin now for over a month, and I haven't expeirencied any hot flashes for a little while until the other day, is this common ? Hope You Have A Good Day !!

HI Vonda!
YES! You are right on...love love love that movie! You guoted one of the best parts...I've even seen it used in a recent commercial. Kathy Bates is cool too cuz she's a "real size" woman who has made it in Hollywood...no small accomplishment!
On to your question...check out the Remifemin box...or website..
www.remifemin.com...the 70% reduction usually occurred after 12 weeks, and you've only been on a month. The other thing to remember is...your menopause experience is very personal, just like your period has always been. Not exactly like anyone else...we're all unique. I find that hot weather, which I've always been sensitive to is a challenge for me when it comes to hot flashes. I can be going along fine and too much exposure to hot humid weather can set off a hot flash I probably wouldn't have had otherwise. There are several things you can do. Increase your dosage of Remifemin...it's perfectly safe...and because you are unique, you may be in a time when you need more...this answer on the FAQ section of the Remifemin site answers it pretty well:
Can I double the dosage? It seems to not be working any more for me.
Clinical trials on Remifemin have used dosages up to 127 mg daily. There is no contraindication to increasing the dosage if desired. It is important to remember that menopause is not marked by a straight decline of estrogen production. There are peaks and valleys, and menopause symptoms may also increase and decrease before disappearing entirely
You will find yourself in these peaks and valleys. The other thing I did was take my Remifemin Good NIght...*see the couple of blogs before...which gives me my full daily dose of Remifemin in one nightly tablet, and then I supplement with the regular Remifemin in the morning...that's my perfect combination for right now and if I need to, I'll bump up to two regular Remifemin in the morning...
well..this is kind of a long answer...but I hope it helps...
Thanks Vonda...keep blogging...
and ladies...Let me hear from you!
We miss you all when you're not checking in and letting us know how your summer is going!

Hello Michele, just checking the web site you mention to get the new snoooooze remifemin, but it seems to me you are not getting a better deal than in the store (pharmacy) the prices seem the same for 120 pills and then the snooze does not have that many and the price is like the one at the pharmacy for a 60 day supply of remifemin???? Does the snooze work in conjuction with the regular remifemin or is this another thing to take??? Also could not find out how to get the $3.00 coupon you mentioned to me don't know where to find it in your website.
I ordered from you yesterday the 40 free pills, forgot to ask are they 20mg??
Thnks for your assistance.

Hi Jo-Anne!
We've missed you on the blog...good to hear from you again! One month before full menopause...I think it sounds like you should go buy yourself something nice!
Oh yes...A Christmas Story...and of course the leg lamp with the Fr-a-gile on the box! So many hilarious moments in that movie...love it! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Yolanda!
It's important to understand that Remifemin Good Night is your daily dose of Remifemin, plus an added sleep component called Restful Sleep Blend. That's why there is a difference in price etc. You don't need to take an extra Remifemin if you are taking Remifemin Good Night...it has your full daily dose in one evening tablet. If your symptoms are more severe, you can add in a regular Remifemin in the morning. That's what I do. Remifemin Good Night at night and a regular Remifemin in the morning, and that works great for me!

My favorite inspirational movie is anything that confirms that the human relationship can and does endure. Something like When Harry Met Sally or Sleepless In Seattle. Loved em both.

Hi JudyLynn!
Great to hear from you...Yes..we could go to the movies together! It's wonderful to have that hour or two of escape and be inspired or cry or laugh. (Pretty much the kind of movies I like to go to!)
I'm very glad you realize that Remifemin is a safe alternative to HRT...we try to get the word out as much as we can that there is a safe, natural, estrogen-free solution. Keep blogging!

Hi Michelle,
I am an avid fan of remifemin and have been taking it for years. I first started out with a harmone and it made me have blood clots so they said no more of that! So my Colon doctor told me about Remifemin. I have been taking it ever since. It helps my energy level and every once in a while I have hot flashes but not too often. I was glad to hear about the night time remifemin. My favorite show is Steel Magnolia's and Horse Whisperer. I'm from the Midwest and love horses and Robert Redford was awesome! I can't say enough good things about Remifemin! I'm going to the store and get the night time Remifemin.
It is great to have a sight where we can get encouragement and hear stories to let us know we are not the only ones in the universe with these crazy symptons. Keep up the good work.
