Check out Woman's World Magazine!

Ever buy Woman’s World magazine at the checkout counter? (You know, next to the magazine where the lady lost 300 pounds in a day and then ran off to join the circus! :))
Check out this week’s issue, it has a great article on Remifemin®. It’s about a nice lady named Yael Wertheimer. She is a patient of Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, M.D., who you can read more about at our Remifemin site: www.remifemin.com. Just click on Meet Mary Jane and you’ll read my interview with her. She’s a leading woman’s gynecologist and does advisory work for Prevention Magazine too! (When you read the interview you'll see that's just the tip of the iceberg as to what she does)

HRT was not working for Yael and with Mary Jane’s advice she started using Remifemin with great results! Read the article and let me know what you think!
I’m just back from 9 blissful days in the UP of Michigan, (Upper Peninsula for those not from around these parts) Stayed in a cabin on a lake and loved every minute of it…but missed blogging to great ladies like you!

Let me know if you see the Remifemin article, where you see Remifemin advertising, and what magazines you really enjoy reading!
Fill my mailbox with your blogs please!!
Remifemin Good Night is being very well received….if you don’t know about it yet…check a few blogs back to find out more.

I’m waiting to hear from you!

Hi and Welcome to the blog!
Federal regulations prohibit us from diagnosing, treating, curing or mitigating disease. Vulvadynia is a complex condition with many underlying causes. Here are some websites that provide support and direction for sufferers:

    http://www.nva.org/

I'm thinking of you, take care!

I started having massive night sweats and hot flashes out of the blue because I still had not missed a period or even been late by more than a couple of days (I'm 53)! It hit me like a ton of bricks and I was very discouraged by it as they came every 15 minutes or so and my nights were so bad I was hardly sleeping at all. I was so tired and cranky (ask my husband!). So I decided to try Remifenim thinking that I would have to wait about a month to see any results, IF there were any! Well, imagine my surprise when less than 2 weeks later my hot flashes and night sweats are literally GONE! I couldn't be more pleased! Thank you!!!

    Hi Suz!
Yaaaa! You found us...that's great! Good news about your sister too...thankful for that. You're an RN, awesome! You have a great background to understand what women are medically going through and what you personally are experiencing. Sounds like you have an awesome family too. I of course am just a regular person, so I can't give medical advice, but I can point you to our FAQ section of the Remifemin website www.remifemin.com

How do you know Remifemin® is safe?
Remifemin® has been the subject of numerous placebo-controlled clinical trials as well as open clinical monitoring trials in physicians' practices in women with menopausal complaints. Over 20 clinical trials have been done spanning more than 40 years with over 3000 subjects. In addition, its efficacy and safety has been demonstrated by market acceptance for over 50 years.
No drug interactions have been observed; adverse events have been limited to mild, transient stomach upset. Over 1.5 million women have taken Remifemin® since it was introduced and more than a billion tablets have been sold around the world.

You know that menopause is an individual journey for every woman, so my best advice is to talk with your friends in the medical profession or pharmacists about any concerns you have, but realize that the science is behind Remifemin to get relief for a change. Let us know how you are doing...I think you will really like Remifemin...read about the great succes of the blogger after you!

    Hi Helen!
I'm so glad you found Remifemin and that you are feeling better. Yes, the alternatives on the market are truly not Remifemin...only Remifemin has RemiSure Black Cohosh and has been used successfully in Europ by women for over 50 years with no known adverse side effects and great results! I'm also glad you're going to get Remifemin Good Night. I just love it. I take it at night and sleep great!
Keep us posted on how you are doing and thanks for blogging!

    Hi Victoria!
Welcome to the blog..I'm glad you told us about yourself. Check out the website www.remifemin.com ...you'll see that there is science behind Remifemin, and women in Europe have been using it safely for over 50 years. The key is sticking with it and realizing that it can take time...4 -12 weeks for 70% symptom reduction according to clinical studies. The symptoms you are describing are what happens in perimenopause in general. Things become erratic and not predictable...for everyone, and it might help you to know that everyone goes through this! It's a personal journey for every person with their own version, but we all have many aspects of it. Also realize that there are over 34 symptoms related to this time of life...so no wonder it's a struggle! Your life is not over for you...Make sure you are getting your feelings out to a friend or a counselor if that works for you. This is hard. Just when you think life should get easier because by our age, we've lived through quite a lot...this hits...and it is hard. Do what you can like exercise, eat right, watch your caffeine intake...and be very good and gentle to yourself. Watch the self talk. So no to the negative and make yourself focus on what's good and right. Make sure the people in your life are supporting you and not bringing you down. Protect what gets in your brain and what you will dwell on. Find some good books on helping you be good to yourself. Don't be afraid to talk to other women, because even the most "together" person on the outside may be going through exactly what you are. I'm glad you're hear and hopefully we can be an encouragement to you. You are going to shine...the best is yet to come...take your Remifemin...hang in there...and keep talking! :)

I started taking Remifemin about 6 months ago. When I first started it relieved my hot flashes and night sweats right away. I take two a day. Now they are back, can I increase the dose.

    Hi Lynn,
Welcome to the blog...the answer to your question is YES! From the FAQ section of the Remifemin website:
Can I double the dosage? It seems to not be working any more for me.
Clinical trials on Remifemin have used dosages up to 127 mg daily. There is no contraindication to increasing the dosage if desired. It is important to remember that menopause is not marked by a straight decline of estrogen production. There are peaks and valleys, and menopause symptoms may also increase and decrease before disappearing entirely.

As your symptoms increase you may need more support and you can increase your dose. I take a Remifemin Good Night at night, which actually has my full days dose of Remifemin and then I support it with a regular Remifemin in the morning too...that's what's working perfectly for me right now. Let me know how you are doing!

I just learned about remifemin and pray that it works for me too. I am excited to be apart of this blog.
