Are you Thankful for menopause?
If it weren’t for menopause…We’d keep having periods until infinity!
If it weren’t for menopause…I might not have had to slow down and think about what’s important and what I’m going to do to keep my life on track.I
f it weren’t for menopause…I wouldn’t be exercising my ability to work through difficult things and getting satisfaction by finding the right answers for me.
If it weren’t for menopause…I wouldn’t have as much empathy for other physical challenges that people go through.
If it weren’t for menopause…We wouldn’t be blogging together right now!Of course, I’m thankful for Remifemin and Remifemin Good Night….so I can get relief for a change! And…everyone of you who emails and blogs. In the season of “thankfulness” what are you thankful for?
By the way, we unfortunately lost some posts to this blog because it was technically "played with" by the blog host and then said it was ok...but they lost most of the last posts...so please...blog back..!

Well.....I guess I'm thankful for menopause because I know I won't have to save all those Always coupons in the future! I'm thankful my GYN recommended Remifemin. My hot flashes are nearly 0 during the day which means I don't have to change from a sweatshirt to a t-shirt and back to a sweatshirt! I was ALWAYS cold before perimenopause, nearly menopause, whatever, but now I'm just comfortable. That's a switch!
Thanks for creating this web site!

Wwll, they tell me I'm in this :perimenopause...but I'm already sweating and hot like I am on fire 24/7. I hope this remifemin works because I am at my wits end! Anything someone can suggest would be very helpful. Do you think the natural herbs are better than regular medication?

Hi ONe Hot Babe!
Thanks for Blogging...better than regular medication? What I can tell you is that when you are taking Remifemin, you are taking a unique, black cohosh herb that has been proven safe and effective for over 50 years. Read the FAQ's at www.remifemin.com and the testimonials...you have to ask yourself if you will feel as safe with medications...especially with everything in the news lately. Just remember it's natural and it takes time...the testimonials will give you a good look into what you can be in store for! You can be "cool" ! Keep blogging!

Thank you for taking the time to create this website. I feel encouraged that both Remifemins will help with these nagging menopause symptoms and am going to start them this evening. My menopause was surgically induced. I cannot believe how I have physically changed in the last year. My biggest disappointment is the weight gain! I went from a size 4 to a size 14 over the last year! Very discouraging, but I am trying to find the right mix of food and exercise as I begin my "new" life. Any suggestions, ladies? I also have terrible hot flashes that occur 24/7 and of course has caused me to experience insomnia. I am encouraged by the testimonials written here and am looking forward to getting some relief from "the change". Thank you and God Bless!

I am not celebrating menopause this is becoming the worst time of my life. I would rather have a period for the rest of my life than go through this any longer. At least with a period I can count on it to come only once a month, not be here all of the time 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Can't sleep, can't think, don't have any patience, sweat all night long, feel like a wimp can't hardly make a descion about much of anything. Oh and did I mention the sex drive...well thats because I don't have one....anymore. :-( You who are celebrating must be in denial and trying to make yourself feel better about all the crap that us women have to go through. I feel all alone and frustrated, as I can get no clear path on what is the right treatment to get if any??? There is so much to read and so many differnet opinions out there I just want to scream.

Hi Anonymous,
You do not sound like a happy camper! I am truly sorry you are having such a rough time...and yes it can be confusing but if you read the testimonials at www.remifemin.com you'll see many women who have had great success with Remfiemin. It's clinically studied a great alternative to HRT.
I hope you will read more about it at the website and try it for at least 12 weeks. Also, consult your doctor...you need to do something to give you some relief and be good to yourself.

Hi Anonymous,
There's lots of Anonymous, so sort through to see who I'm answering!
Weight gain is a constant complaint of menopause. My best advice is do the best you can, and then let it go and be good to yourself. Exercise every day, eat for good health , encourage your spirit and don't dwell on it. I know it's hard for some ladies to hear, but do you really want to waste part of your life dwelling on this? It also makes you so busy thinking about yourself, you miss out on helping others or enjoying the day you've been granted. So, do the best you can, make good choices....and then just live!

Thanks for this site...
The past week or two I have been having mild hot flashes...
Much better than the PMS rollercoaster.
I feel like I'm getting control of my life and back on a level playing field.
I am solving problems that I haven't been able to cope with in years. The date of my last period was about the time of my last personal professional crisis.
Happy to be able to share

Menopause is just another phase in a women's life, so I'm grateful to be alive and experiencing whatever life hands me! However, hot flashes are awful. I'm only 43 and I'm in full blown menopause. I will tell you that exercise really does help. I teach fitness classes to a lot of women in my age group and I can guarantee you that it will help with weight control, moods and hot flashes. You can control your weight but you have to work hard at it. Lift weights and do cardio (3 times a week for both - more cardio to lose weight). I am trying remifiren. I've been on low dosage estrogen for a few months and it helps but I'd rather go a more natural route. Good luck everyone! Go for a walk when you feel stress, it does wonders!

Hi Peggy,
Thanks for the blog and the encouragement to exercise. Exercise is so good for us in so many aspects, including helping with menopausal symptoms. Read the FAQs at www.remifemin.com and give it time to build up and work in your body. Yes! Remifemin is hormone and estrogen free...and a great way to get relief for a change...I look forward to hearing of your success...and of course to keep on us about exercising every day!

I am 60 and at 48 had a hysterectomy and have breast problems so I can't take Estrogen. For 5 years I took Tomoxifen (which causes hot flashed) so I took Magace to stop the hot flashes. After 5 yrs. you can't take Tomoxifen so I stopped taking it and the Magace. So for the last 7 yrs. I have been having hot flashes. Last year we moved to Florida from the Northeast and in Florida I feel like I could fry eggs on my skin. I can't take anything with Estrogen but I decided to try the Remifemin and have been taking it for 12 days and I was wondering if it was making me anxious? It is not suppose to but maybe with the other pills it does. I take fosomex once a week, but I take a daily multi-vitamin (Centrum}, plus vit.600 C plus D., Clucosamine Chrondorotin, Vit. E400 and I feel like all I do is take vitamins. Since I have been taking the Remifemin I haven't been sleeping as well. Do you think it could be causing me not to sleep. Sometimes the flashes get so bad that I could scream and I would like to be able to get rid of the as I have had my years of them.
Since being in Florida I have decided to do volunteer work at the Hospice Resale Store and I really like it and I have also found a few other volunteer opportunities. It is hard to meet new people when you are in a new area but that is the least of my worries with these hot flashes. Help
Suzie

Hi Suzieq,
Well, let me say I am sorry for all you have been through, it has not been an easy journey for you. I live in the North, but have been in Florida in August over 30 years ago and I still remember how hot it was...I'm not a fan of the hot weather, because you always need a fan!
Make sure you are working with your doctor about anything you are taking...to make sure you can take it together. I can tell you about Remifemin...it has no side effects...the only one some people expereince is a slight upset stomach which passes. I have a sensitive stomach and never have any problem with it. There's nothing in it to cause the symptoms you are describing. As far as sleeping goes, I recommend Remifemin Good Night. Remember that Remifemin is clincially studied and most women experience the best results in 8-12 weeks...
Read the FAQs and testimonials at www.remifemin.com
It's natural so you need to give it the time to work. I hope your issues clear up soon and I do recommend you read up more on Remifemin and take advantage of what it can do for you!
Keep blogging and hang in there!
