Have You Ever Been a Waitress?

I’ve never been a waitress. Now let me assure you, I’ve had a million different jobs along the way…I’ve broadcast a radio show dressed as a rabbit, counted nuts and bolts for inventory for 9 hours straight and even did a 2 week stint as a dental assistant! With all my various forays into the work word, I’ve never been a waitress, and that’s a good thing! I admire waitresses greatly and a good one really adds to a nice dining experience. The reason it’s a good thing is because I was always afraid I would spill coffee or a big hot meal on someone. Now I know I would.
Lately, I’m dropping things like crazy…thank good ness I didn’t make waitressing my career. I’m better this week, but last week I think I dropped everything I touched. Ever have a week like that? The topper was when I dropped a towel, bent down to pick it up and hit my head on the corner of the towel bar as I was coming up. Just call me Grace!
What kind of jobs have you had through the years…or have you been a waitress and have some good stories?
Let me be real scientific here and take a survey…have you been dropping things lately too?
Thank goodness I’m still taking my Remifemin and getting relief for a change, I have enough going on just trying to hold on to things!
Let’s chat!

    wow JoAnne!
Isn't it amazing when you start to list it out! Sounds like you do all kinds of amazing things to help people...that's wonderful. Did your dog chase you down the stairs trying to gobble up as many pieces as possible before you picked them up? :)
    Thanks for blogging!

    Hi Nonnameme,
That babysitting seems to be a good first job for everyone! I started that at 13 too...I took care of two pre-teens, and a newborn, cleaned the house, ironed, made the food...40 plus hours a week for $15.00! It's crazy when you look back on it, but I remember having a whole $15 of my own to buy clothes...ahh the innocence of those days huh? Thanks for sharing and also for letting us know how great you are still doing on Remifemin! Me too..keep blogging!

    HI..
Thanks for blogging...and I would encourage you to try Remifemin if you give it the "Try" it needs, 8-12 weeks is what's necessary for most people...according do clinical studies. I would encourage you to read the FAQs at www.remifemin.com and read the testimonials too...you'll see you can take more safely...I know it's a really hard time, so keep blogging! If you reply to the most recent blog...more people will see it...and we can all encourage each other! Take care!

    Hi,
You're on a really old blog...but I'll answer anyway! I'm 51 and probably been in menopause since my mid 40's...but it really heated up about 3 years ago, which is when I was so happy to have Remifemin as a resources. You will usually starts symptoms close to when your mother did...if you have that information..
    Why do you ask?
