I'm A Consumer Too!
Coffees good for you. Now it's not. Now it is.
Get out in the sun, no wait, stay out of the sun.
Every day there's a new story in the news to confuse us!
You may have seen the recent story about black cohosh not working for menopausal symptoms.
First of all, I know for a fact that Remifemin has helped me immensely...and no placebo can really stand up to the test of menopause over time. Next...the study was not done on Remifemin which has the one and only RemiSure Black Cohosh. So is there black cohosh out there that really doesn't do anything for menopausal symptoms? Sounds like there could be. Is that the truth about Remifemin? Absolutely not.
It's been studied for over 50 years, over 90 research papers have been done on it, and 15 studies have been published showing it does work.
The bottom line is: not all black cohosh is the same.
Sometimes people email me and wonder why Remifemin costs more than something that sounds like it and they assume is just like it. It's still true. You get what you pay for.
Web MD even published a study showing that some products saying they had black cohosh didn't even actually have any black cohosh in them!
So it's a good idea to be a wise consumer. But it's also a good idea to look beyond the headlines that you will see floating around out there. I'd hate to think someone is missing out on Remifemin simply because they read a headline that black cohosh doesn't work.
Don't settle for less than Remifemin and Remifemin Good Night...you can learn more at our website; www.remifemin.com
So...how are you doing on your menopausal journey?
Have you been telling friends about Remifemin?
Let's talk!

I recently (a little over 3 weeks ago) started taking bio-identical hormones: Bi-Est 1.25 mg and Progeterone Troche 50 mg. My question is: is it any safer to take those rather than the chemical horse-urine HRT? I haven't yet noticed any improvement or difference in sleep or hot flashes/night sweats, but maybe it's too soon. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Kissiee,
You would want to talk with your doctor about what you are doing...but what I can tell you is, Remifemin is proven, safe and effective. That's why I take and it and so highly recommend it. It's been used by women in Europe for over 50 years...safely. I for one only want proven answers when it comes to what I will put in my body. Go to www.remifemin.com
REad the FAQ's....read the testimonials...all those are from real women who have experienced great relief for a change with Remifemin. My suggestion? Really think about taking Remifemin and/or
Remifemin Good Night...there are answers for you...and a good nights sleep! :) Let us know how you are doing...the snow is enough for you to have to deal with this year!

I will try Remifemin, but you didn't answer my question. Is it SAFER to take bio-identical hormones as opposed to the chemical HRT ones? I obviously discussed this with my doctor, as you need a prescription for them. Thanks!

Hi Kissiee...
You've asked a question I can't answer because it's a medical question that you have to ask your doctor about. I'm just a woman in menopause who has found my answer to be Remifemin...I would never presume to recommend any type of drug to anyone...only to let you know what I know to be true about Remifemin and Remifemin Good Night..it's safe, natural and effective and has been used safely by women in Europe for over 50 years. Can you say the same about what you are taking? Take care and I hope you get some relief for a change...soon!

Bio-identicals are no better than the traditional HRT. As they are compounded the amounts of hormones in them varies depending upon who you are having them compounded with. This is not a problem when you are taking the traditional HRT. Also, saliva tests dont prove much of anything either. This may be why it is not doing anything for you.

I have been taking Remifemin for a couple of years since my family physician recommended it for hot flashes. I still get the flashes, but in the winter I welcome them because I am usually cold! I do notice a big change in the mood swings and anxiety feelings.I sleep better with Remifemin. I agree with your comment about 'you get what you pay for', when dealing with medication, it makes a difference. Generic is not always the 'same' as brand-proven brand!

Hi Anonymous...
Good to hear about your Remifemin experience...tell your friends! I am amazed as I hear women talking how much they just don't realize there is a natural, safe effective alternative to their menopausal journey....and yes, I've also found in medication that generic doesn't match up as they promise.
Thanks for taking Remifemin...and keep blogging!

Hi Julie,
You can take Remifemin indefinately
...it's explained why at www.remifemin.com, the FAQ basically tells you how Remifmein is regulated in Germany, where it originated...and that's why there is a limit, not because of anything in the product that you can't take longer. The website describes it well...check it out and feel free to take Remifemin and get your relief back!

Has anyone taken Remifemin while on chemotherapy for breast cancer? Anyone know about whether or not it interfers with chemotherapy?

HI Anne,
This is a question you would want to talk with your doctor about. Remifemin has been shown to be safe for a women with a history of breast cancer, but while in treatment you should be working closely with your doctor about everything you are taking or considering taking because they know your individual situation so well... take care!

HI..
The thing is that menopause comes with peaks and valleys...so you may need to take more because you are in a "peak"...it's also important to be consistent...it's natural safe and effective, but because it's natural, it can take 8-12 weeks to build up in your body. Read the FAQs at www.remifemin.com ...and the testimonials...start taking more and consistently....and wait for great results!
