Love to see you SMILE!
Just to make you smile, laugh, giggle, chuckle...and be good to yourself for a minute or two!
Why do we need to smile?
Because our memory's not as sharp as it used to be and our memory is not as sharp as it used to be. :)
Before I started taking Remifemin, I didn't think of it as getting flashes, I thought of it as my inner child playing with matches.
Don't let aging get you down...it's too hard to get back up!
Know how to prevent sagging? Just eat till the wrinkles fill out!
I must admit, I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape, so I got my doctor's permission to join a fitness club and start exercising. I decided to take an aerobics class. I bent, I twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour. But, by the time I got my leotards on, the class was over!
Remember...you don't stop laughing because you get older, you get older because you stop laughing.
Be very good to yourself and take your Remifemin today!
What made you smile lately?
Send some news of you!

I had a hysterectomy, which brought menopause on surgically. I was 39. The hot flashes are quite intense, insomnia is peak and the weight gain has been unbelievable; I went from a size 4 to 14, however for the first time in my entire life I actually developed breasts and finally have 'something' to squeeze into the mammogram machine! Now that is something to smile about ;-)

Hi Nonnameme!
How great to hear from you!
LOL! I don't know if you think it was funny at the time or not, but the thought of you fogging up your car is now very funny to read! I think that would make a great car commercial aimed at menopausal women...a special kind of defroster.
Thanks for sharing...and keep blogging!

Hi Anonymous!
I love your sense of humor! Why not look on the bright side and for the positive right? It really beat the alternative! I hear from so many of you who gain weight and can't get it off...I'm in the same boat you are. My best advice is eat as healthy as you can, do some exercise in healthy moderation and then just chose to be good to yourself. Life is short and we don't want to waste a minute fretting about things that won't matter 20 years from now...carpe diem! Thanks for blogging!

It's hard to think of anything funny right now, I am as mean as a junkyard dog and I have always been thought of as such a nice, sweet person. But one thing happens to me that I haven't heard of re: hot flashes. I get intensely hot and then so chilled that my bones actually ache. No, I do not have the flu. It's painful!!!
My car air conditioner is going to break, going from maximum cold to full blast heat. It's 28 degrees outside, and I have the sunroof and windows open, with the heat on. I should save on utility bills as the easiest thing to do is keep the house at 64 degrees and throw sweaters, socks and blankets off and on. And this is on estradiol!
How anyone could have a baby at 50+ is beyond me, I would forget where I left him/her.
I am ready to try anything, although my friends say black cohosh didn't help them. Can you take this with the estradiol?
Love your site!

HI Nancy 7!
I'm glad you love the site!
Here's an answer to one of your questions from the FAQ at www.remifemin.com
Can I take Remifemin® with other drugs? With HRT (hormonal replacement therapy)?
Although no adverse drug interactions have been reported to date, we recommend that, as with any dietary supplement, if you are taking any prescription drug or any other over-the-counter product, please check with your doctor or pharmacist first before using Remifemin. Your doctor or pharmacist is the best person to advise you based on your medical history and present state of health. Remifemin is not meant to replace hormonal drug therapy, although there are no known contraindications to taking them together.
I can also tell you that "black cohosh" is not Remifemin RemiSure Black cohosh....it's unique and the one that has been clinically studied to be safe and effective.
Just because something was black cohosh doesn't mean it was Remifemin. I hope you try it and get safe, natural relief for a change!

I stumbled upon this blog as a result of bumbling upon an afordable way to try a product before committing and I love it. When I read nonnameme's comments an idea for a commercial I'd like to see flashed across my mind's screen: At open we watch a teenaged girl and her boyfriend walk up to a flashy red sports car with the music turned way up parked outside a suburban home. The windows are fogged up and the youths look at each other then at the car in horror. The girl races up to the car and pounds on the window. The car window rolls down to reveal a middle aged woman, bathed in sweat, fanning with a newspaper. She turns the music off. The girl gasps, "Nana!"
The woman replies, "Do you mind!?"
turns the music back on and rolls the window back up. The girl and the boy laugh their heads off. Go to black with a Chevy emblem in a chrome-like effect as the announcer says, "do you remember your first car?"

I'm ready to purchase Remifemin! Since the beginning of August, 07 my hot flashes and night sweats have REALLY increased! OH! Don't forget the heart palpitations that make their random appearances, too! I work full-time and exercise regularly, so getting a good night's sleep is vital. I can't say when I slept through the night without night sweats...maybe late July?!?
Maturing gracefully is a sham!! I've gone the route of no caffeine, no spices, exercise and attempts at sleep and guess what INCREASED - the hot flashes/night sweats!! HRT is not the route for me, so Remifemin here I come!!
Signed - Too Darned HOT ! !
