Where did I put the baby???

Look! Me about to take my first cable car ride in San Fransisco a few weeks ago...it's really fun to try something new...
I want to encourage you if you're feeling down about things. I hear from many of you that are quite shocked by how difficult the menopausal journey can be. We hear about it for years in a joking manner and it's like many things in life...until we are actually in it...we just don't get it.
I get it ...believe me.
That's why I always encourage you to be good to yourself. It's hard...it really is. Some days are better than others. That's why you have to do what you can...like taking Remifemin. And laughing. The laughing is just so important.
And doing things you want to do . Just do it. Don't wait. Go for it.
You deserve it. I have to pass along things that make us giggle...
Oh yah, where did I put that baby? (It will make sense after you read on)
Let me hear from you...I want to know how you're doing!
Michele
Here's your giggle for the day!
Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they
left them.
A friend of mine confused her Valium with her birth control pills... she has 14 kids but
doesn't really care.
One of life's mysteries is how a 2-pound box of chocolates can make a woman gain 5 lbs.My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.
The best way to forget your troubles is to wear tight shoes.
The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing,
someone else does.
The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight because by then, your body and your
fat are really good friends.
Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.
I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my
knickers'.
Amazing! You hang something in your closet for a while and it shrinks 2 sizes!
Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like...'You know sometimes I forget to eat!' .....Now I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name and my keys, but I have
never forgotten to eat. You have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat!
I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day!

George Had if Right

HI Girlfriends...

George Carlin will probably alway be most remember for those "7 words" that I sure don't want to repeat...but I think we should reflect on the words below that he wrote. They will stand the test of time!

I know your menopause journey can be trying at times...but keep taking your Remifemin...and keep your chin up. You can do it...you will get through it...and this too shall pass!

Send some news of you!

A Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stock room.

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

- George Carlin
